Hampton, NH - (June 19, 2006): Unitil Corporation (AMEX:UTL) announced today that its New Hampshire retail operating subsidiary filed revised Energy Service prices for its large customers with the New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission. The new prices are based on a recently completed competitive bidding process for wholesale electric energy supply and are expected to be in effect August through October, 2006.

Large business customers who take Energy Service supply from Unitil will see average bill decreases of about 0.6%, reflecting a drop in electricity supply costs since last May. More than 40% of Unitil's large business customers in New Hampshire procure their own competitive energy supply and they will not be affected by the change in Energy Service prices.

The monthly Energy Service prices are as follows:

	August	$0.09414 / kilowatt-hour
	September	$0.07711 / kilowatt-hour
	October	$0.08151 / kilowatt-hour

Energy Service is provided to customers who do not have their own retail competitive electricity supply. These services are procured by Unitil through a competitive bid process and the resulting prices are passed through to customers without profit or mark up from the local distribution company. Unitil's Energy Service prices are set every three months for large business customers and every six months (May and November) for residential and small to medium business customers.
